I try to keep a weather station up and running that collects wind, rain, humidity, and temperature information and serves it to the Internet. Sometimes this proves to be a bit of a challenge due to my Internet connection. I'm using Davis weather instruments. The URL for the station is http://stlweather.dynup.net

The weather station is also part of the Weather Exchange Network where you can download a spyware free utility that will display area weather station information (including National Weather Service data) on your desktop.

The weather data is uploaded to Weather Underground every 15 minutes. You can check out the St. Louis Shaw Neighborhood Weather Conditions as archived at Weather Underground. Key weather data is graphed and there is also a historical record of the data.

My wind speed and direction is not totally accurate since the wind instruments are somewhat shielded.
